Warehouse Hall with Outbuilding
Honeš, Filip ; Ing. Milan Šmak, Ph.D (referee) ; Bajer, Miroslav (advisor)
Task of bachelor thesis deals with design of steel supporting structure at warehouse hall with outbuilding, which is situated in Kopřivnice. The hall is 18,0 m and extension is 6,0 m wide. Total hall´s lengh is 54,0 m. The main supporting elements are diagonal links, made from plain solid frame from rolled profiles with joint bearing on column base. Purlins are also proposed from plane solid profiles. The calculation has been done in Scia Engineer 2010 program and by hand calculation.
Comparison of analytical and numerical solutions for buckling of an aluminium alloy profile
Bolek, Robert ; Šebek, František (referee) ; Návrat, Tomáš (advisor)
This bachelor thesis deals with the solution of buckling stability of a thin-walled profile made of aluminium alloy Al 6061.T6. The solution is carried out by analytical and numerical methods. The Abaqus software, based on the finite element method, was used for the numerical solution. The aim was to determine the maximum load on the profile by different methods, following with their comparison and evaluation according to the accuracy, versatility and time requirement of each method.
Warehouse Hall with Outbuilding
Růžička, Jan ; Buchta, Stanislav (referee) ; Bajer, Miroslav (advisor)
The aim of the work is to design steel structure warehouse hall with outbuilding in the city of Brno. Plan dimensions of the building are 24x48m. The main supporting part is diagonal links with range 18m and a height in the top of the ship 8.9m, which is hinged to the base structure. The main structure is articulated outbuilding with dimensions 6x48m and height in the top 5.6m. Diagonal frame links are formed of beams and columns. Among the main support frames are thin-walled solid purlins reinforced rods. The spatial rigidity of the structure is ensured by cross braces. Roof cladding and walls will be made using sandwich panels. The calculation has been done in Scia Engineer 2012 program and by hand calculation.
Family house load-carrying structure composed of thin-walled cold-formed steel profiles
Jančar, Ondřej ; Melcher, Jindřich (referee) ; Karmazínová, Marcela (advisor)
The aim of the bachelor thesis is make a structural design of prefabricated family house. The load-carrying structure is composed of thin-walled cold-formed steel profiles. The family house is single-storey without basement. The object has rectangular ground plan with proportions of 9 x 14 m. The gable roof has slope 27°. Roof truss girders allows to make a attic space for storage seasonal things. The house is situated in city development of Bílovec. The object was designed according to currently valid standarts to the ultimate limit states and seviceability limit states.
Torsion of bars with noncircular cross section
Votava, Ondřej ; Hájek, Petr (referee) ; Profant, Tomáš (advisor)
The aim of this bachelor's thesis is the problematics of twisting of bars with non-circular cross-section. In order to solve this problem, analytical and numerical methods are used. The theoretical part deals with the derivation of elementary relations, especially on the thin-walled open and closed section. This theoretical knowledge is further applied to solve specific tasks. In this thesis, the applicability of using individual methods for real parts is examined.
Analysis of simple and non-uniform torsion with restricted warping of opened and closed thin-walled profiles
Zavičák, Radim ; Hrstka, Miroslav (referee) ; Šebek, František (advisor)
This thesis deals with the solution of simple and non-uniform torsion with restricted warping of non-circular thin-walled profiles. In the theoretical part, the emphasis is mainly on the derivation of analytical solution for caltulation of stress in open and closed profiles. Analytical solution is then applied to solve specific examples. The results are verified by the finite element method. In the final part of the thesis, a comparison of analytical and numerical results was made and the safety of individual states with respect to the limit state of elasticity was discussed.
